The Speaking Game does not work in Ling app. How can I fix this?
You need internet access to play the Speaking game, as it will compare your voice with our online database to produce an answer.
This is to avoid storing the whole database in your device, which will take up a lot of storage space.
Please make sure you have a steady internet connection while playing the Speaking game.
You can also try the following methods:
- Please close the app COMPLETELY (not letting it run in the background)
- Turn your internet connection off, and then turn it back on (on both your device and your router if possible)
- Open the app again to see if you could play the Speaking game (you only need to press the microphone button once)
If that does not work, please kindly uninstall and re-install the app to see if it fixes the problem.
If you have tried all of the above and still could not download the category, please contact us for further assistance at firstname.lastname@example.org.
